About the club

Who We Are

The Central North Island Gun Club (CNIGC) is a proud member of the New Zealand Service Rifle Association (NZSRA). We run service rifle matches as part of our broader shooting programme, alongside affiliated clubs across New Zealand including WSRA, ASRA, and BOPSRA.

Service rifle shooting uses authentically configured military rifles on fixed-distance ranges — combining the deliberate precision of target shooting with the pace and variety of active competition.
